Due to the chilly forecast, our Winter Walk Day, originally scheduled for tomorrow, February 1st, has been POSTPONED. Families, please join us on Wednesday, February 8th at 11:25am for our Winter Walk!

Due to a supply issue, this Thursday's hot food has changed from chicken nuggets to hamburgers. Please let the office know by 12pm on Wednesday, should you wish to receive a refund instead of a hamburger.

Mrs. Wood´s Kindergarten classes had a fun week of skating! Miss. Braun, an EA in the Kindergarten classroom and the local CanSkate coach, did a wonderful job of leading the students through their skating lessons. A big thank you to all of the parents and guardians who helped with getting our Kindergarten crew on and off of the ice!

Today was an exciting day at EPE with both Disney Day and our January assembly. Our assembly was jam-packed and included our School-Wide Bucket-Filling Challenge, presentations from our three Remembrance Day Literary Contest Winners, Grade 2 Readers Theatre, Grade 1 Puppet Jokes, Grade 5 Math Games, Dare to Care Skits and our Top Tiger Presentations for both December and January. Yesterday, Mrs. Osinchuk's Grade 2/3 Class went on their first field trip of the year. The students walked over to FG Miller for a tour with Mr. Sanson, the wood shop teacher. The Grade 2/3s have just started their "Building with a Variety of Materials" unit in Science. They had the chance to see many tools used in woodworking, different types of wood, and projects that have been created by Mr. Sanson's students. Last week our students participated in Family Friday. The first Friday of the month (later this month because of the Christmas Concert) is dedicated to Family Friday. All of the EPE students are in a Tree Family, with students from all grade levels. On Family Fridays, the students rotate through the staff members and take part in a different activity each month.
